Everybody's life begins inside a miracle. And we are meant to be in a relationship. When we are children, we experience connection with everything and everyone. In general, in every child, somewhere in his early childhood, a rupture in the connection to one's caregivers appears. That rupture leads us to a partner who possesses those positive and negative character traits of the caregiver with whom the rupture appeared while connecting. That is why, in my view and the IMAGO relational therapy experts' opinion, the couple partner is like a resource for healing the relationship with both the caregiver and the environment, where the disconnection appeared, and for the connection rebuilding with both the inside and the outside of us.
