Although his hometown of Berkeley, California, is only one hour away from the prized vineyards of Napa Valley, he felt called to the other side of the globe to specialize in French wines, and now bottles bearing his import strip are sought by the most discerning wine lovers. His many accolades include the Legion of Honour and three James Beard awards.

Lynch divides his time between Provence and Berkeley, where his distinguished wine store is located. He is his own best customer.
